Weekend Free For All

Well I haven't posted on a non-blog day in a while!
So I have been out of school for 2 weeks, it is very hard for me to believe. Let's see...Since coming home I have visited Kelsey at UW and hungout with my family...a lot. I actually haven't had any non-family social interaction in 1.03 weeks ( by this I mean hanging out with people my age). OMG, as much as I love Gig Harbor it is getting to me. I have been babysitting/chipping paint off of a building to keep me busy and biking/walking with my family when I get home. It is pretty exciting. Summer seems a lot lonelier than I remember. I am going to start nannying on a regular basis on monday, yeahh!! haha There are two boys 6 and 11. Boys are scary, they are terrifying and a lot to handle when they are little and then they grow up and never change. When I took my "test run" so to speak, on Monday I realized how much easier girls are to nanny. With girls you can just hang out and play with pets, have lemonade stands, go on errands but with boys no way. When I was there for a mere 5 hours we played chess, backgammon ( I still can't figure that game out), took out the ATV and Dirtbikes (OMG I thought this was going to be the end of my career as a nanny) played HORSE, kick the can and 1000, they showed me the Tae Kwando moves and how they can do cool skateboard tricks, we had lunch (yuum PB&J) and watched some Sponge Bob Squarepants. There weren't too many dilemmas except for when the younger boy whipped the older boy (with an actual bullwhip, I know! I have no idea why they have that!) Needless to say it will be an interesting summer. I went to costco with my parents today (whooo top of the line entertainment) and I only saw one person from high school...well 1.25 because I saw this kid who I thought I went to high school with but then I didn't think it was him and it didn't sound like him but it really really did look like him, so anyway my summer as a recluse is off to a great start. The only problem is tomorrow I am hanging out with Kelsey H. This is an event I am quite looking forward too, alas my social desires cramp my ability to never have social interaction again, we are going to make Vegan Pho (it can be done!) and watch Vertigo (that I rented from the library) in honor of it's 50th year anniversary. It takes place in San Francisco so it should be interesting to see how it looked 50 years ago. Well we have 78 days until School starts again. So Until then my friends,
Sleepless in Gig Harbor (that joke NEVER gets old)
