Lemme just say that you all must attend Sasquatch! with me sometime....cause it is amazing. There are too many wonderful things to blog about....but I'll try and tell you about most of the highlights. M.I.A. is the first on my mind, so I'll start there. JoAnna and I hung out in the pit for hours to get a good spot, which we did. We were in the third row from the front dead center. Sadly, there were many other people who wanted our spot and a deadly pushing and shoving game ensued. The result of this game was us moving about to the first row spot but still with three rows of people between us....needless to say it was very cramped...to the point I couldn't breathe. JoAnna ended up getting crowd surfed out because there was no oxygen and I almost got crushed to death in the middle of a push when I lost my balance and fell down (thankfully the person next to me pulled me back up right away). M.I.A.'s performance was amazing though...so fucking amazing....you have no idea, even though we almost died. JoAnna and I did live, obviously, although Jo lost her over-shirt and shoes and my feet are three sizes larger than normal because of all the bruises I received. The other show that really sticks out in my head is the Flaming Lips U.F.O. show. I cried. It was so good I cried. No words can describe how fucking beautiful it was. There was a UFO, and confetti, and Taps, and peace signs, and Teletubbies, and naked women, and a gigantic butterfly, and a crowd surfing bubble. You should really youtube it. Here are some pics from our amazing weekend.
