What I Wore Today

I am reminded of an Of Montreal song; the one about only leaving the apartment once a day to buy some groceries. That was my day.
All day I sat around in my PJs, the grey pants with my USF "Don't Be Reck-less" t-shirt. Around 4:30 pm I decided that I would get dressed, so I donned my sequined, argyle shirt and blue jeans after my shower and drove down to the local taco shop to get me some carne asada fries. Around 10:30 pm I tired of my regular clothes and traded them in for my grey PJ pants again and my University of Heidelberg shirt (man I have been quite collegial today!).
So that was my Thursday in the sleepy mountain town of Alpine.

Bloggy Bloggy Bloggy

Hello My Lovely People,

I first wanted to draw attention to the new picture of us all. If anyone disapproves, well you can suck it.....jk, jk. Just let me know if you want any changes or have any suggestions. I was complaining to Ali that I didn't have anything to blog about so she recommended that I write about what I wore today. Who's excited???
My outfit today actually wasn't that amazing. I wore my RED shirt with jeans. While it is very plain, I think that it was very classic. It showed that I cared about the world and was able to just throw on a t-shirt and jeans and still look nice. Hahaha.

Ok now that the bullshit is over, I do have a slightly amusing story about my hair. A couple days ago I was trying to add dark redish-brown lowlights to my hair, just to add a bit of depth. Unfortunately, the color didn't really work out and I ended up with pink streaks in my hair! So awesome, right?!.....and then I found $10. Ok, the $10 part isn't really true...but after I wrote that I realized how lame of a story it was and decided to try and redeem it with $10....but I don't think that worked either. Umm, so yeah. I had pinkish hair for a couple of days. And then I found this Color Oops thing that takes out color without bleaching the hair. So I tried that. And it took out the pink wonderfully...but it also really lightened my hair. So now my hair looks like I bleached it. Yay!

.......and then I found $10......

Another Day Another Dollar

Dear Colleagues and Communists,
It has recently come to my attention that something quite important has occurred. How this something passed by without much notice is a surprise, (well actually it isn't now that I think of it) but we are currently doing something that has never been witnessed by mankind before. We are in 2009. Waoh! Let's just wait a cotton pickin' moment here. What happened to 2008, it was a good year, and I wish it could still be with us. But nothing lasts now does it. Let's have a moment of silence for 2008......ahh, if only Bette Middler could be here to sing a song and make us all cry into our quilts (I'm sure you're all wrapped in quilts at this moment). While I will miss 2008, I believe it important to set some goals for 09, resolutions if you will. And since they are on the Internet, I will most certainly achieve them all.
