Oh Heyyy
I like the idea of reviving the blog, especially with everyone living farther apart and studying abroad. So here's my 2 cents: Feed me and I live. Give me drink and I die. What am I? .......Fire

Junior Year?
Hello Friends!
I second Laina and full heartily believe that we need to revive the blog! So here's my first post:
I cannot believe it's junior year! When did we start this? Freshman year? OMG I can't believe it so much has changed. We have all left Phelan life for bigger and better adventures. I just moved in (as you probably know) to my new apartment in San Francisco! I live 2 blocks past Alamo Square so basically my everyday life is an episode of Full House. I am living with 4 girls who are all 20. We go to a mixture of schools (USF, SFSU, and City College). It's different to be in this part of town but I think we're going to really really like it. Below are some pictures of my apt unfurnished, I'll post some furnished pictures as soon as everyone is moved in! Sooooo fun!

randomly
hola chiquitas. i'm babysitting and having a super great time watching Jack's big music show. i should have put that as my #1 show that i watch regularly on the facebook note.
anyways, last night darius and his roommate brandon came to visit and darius was showing me this blog that he and his friends have and i was like oh ya my friends and i started one freshman year. he looked kinda devistated, aparently he thought they were like super special because he'd never heard of anyone else doing a friend group blog. so yay for us for being cooler than them lol, but shame on us because their blog kinda kicks ass. like they have multiple posts per day and they all comment on stuff and basically i think we need to revive our blog. like we should start writing more often then every few months, especially as some of us begin to spread out accross the world, and we should add the le friends who are new since we created the blog. does anyone think we should just create a new blog altogether and have a fresh start? ideas anyone? anyone reading this?

Spring Time for Les Friends in California!
Bonjour Les Amis!
I haven't Blogged in many moons, but alas I have some free time (well free time if that means procrastinating and looking for other things to do than homework). For Spring Break, Laina, Kyrstin, Kelsey and I went on a Roadtrip on the California Coast and we met up with Ali in San Diego. It was fantastic! Here are some of the things we did:
- Stayed in Salina's at an excellent hotel, with a little extra business in the parking lot and a little problem in the bathroom.
- Hung out in San Luis Obispo and watched Twilight, I'm not sure how much of that move can be recollected.
- Stayed in fantastic Santa Barbara! Home to Oprah, Julia Luis Dreyfus...and Laina's Family!!
- Drove to beautiful Alpine and met up with the even more beautiful Whalen Family.
- Went camping (real roughin' it, with a 10 man tent full of girly bedding and enough Tecate to drink yourself a wet suit).
- Stopped at the Hearst castle
- Came back to SF and went to North Beach!

If you wannabe my lover you gotta get with my friends. Make it last forever, friendship never ends.
Good Morning Friends!
I hope your morning has been as wonderful as mine has been. Here are some random thoughts and reflections:
A couple of reasons I like the Denver Airport:
Free wifi, tasty bagels, free wifi, lots of shops
A couple of reasons I dislike the Denver Airport:
The shops are kinda sketch, it is snowy and cold, the airport is really confusing ( I am currently in the Gates 1 - 31 area, but I can only find Gates 28 - 31), last time I was here (sitting in this exact same spot, also going to Orlando) they canceled my plane and fucked up getting me to Orlando...and then lost my luggage for half the trip
I really like the song Wannabe. It reminds me of you guys....and Bonna. I have been listening to it all morning......hahaha
Most beautiful thing I have seen today:
(I can't get bold to turn off.....)
Flying out of San Francisco while it was still dark was so beautiful. The moon was still up and shinning over the ocean. The city looked so calm and I could see campus! And then we flew into the sunrise. It was wonderful.
People are really crabby at 4:30 am while standing in line.
Peets Coffee has really strong iced coffee....it kinda tasted like 7 shots of espresso over ice....that isn't a bad thing...
I am glad we don't have snow in the City. I really dislike 6 months of snow.
I am slightly sleep deprived right now (that iced coffee is making it hard to get to sleep on the plane....that is a bad thing)
I get to see my mom in a matter of hours! (wonderful thing)
I get to see basically my entire family in a matter of hours.....(scary thing)
I am determined to come back with a tan.
I am sad that Mike is in the city today and I'm not. But I am so excited that he gets to meet you guys! Be nice and don't tell any embarrassing stories about me. Try not to freak him out too much....he is kinda normal (well, compared to you guys, but then again that isn't hard).
Does anyone know what deicing fluid is made of? I'm sure it can't be good for the environment. That has always bugged me.
I am obsessed with Sudoku.
My finger nail just broke and it is bugging me.
Ok, I'm rambling now. I think this post needs to end.

Sociology

Hello Friends,
I am currently sitting in Intro to globalization! Wahoo, this class, which is a part of the sociology department is fairly interesting. It's kind of bizarre though because it seems as if most of the words which are the fundamentals of Sociology are not actually part of the English language. Every other word I type into my notes gets a little underlined red squiggle, it's cool.
Let's see here, the retreat this weekend was very nice. I liked having my own bathroom and bedroom and being fed good food and wandering the woods.
That's really all I have to say right now. Don't live in excess.
Love,
K.

Hello Friends
Hello Friends! I would just like to state a couple of things ( possibly more if I have a stroke of brilliance).
- The SII blog is alive! OMG! Check it out: www.saintiggy.blogspot.com
- Why didn't Hillary Cliton bring up Human Rights when she went to China?
- I found a cool picture on Stumble, enjoy:

Valentine's Day
Hello my friends!
Since Valentine's Day is approaching I would just like to say how much I love you all! Seriously. Even though San Francisco is a wonderful place, I know I wouldn't enjoy it here as nearly much as I do without you guys as my friends (even if you do forget to call me for dinner and let me starve....Kailey......). I'll keep this short and sweet, otherwise I'll start rambling about how much fun I have with you guys and how you make me laugh and how I like studying together and how I feel like we are one big mostly happy slightly deranged family.....and then this blog would just end up long and pointless. So I'll leave it at that.
Love you.

Thursday Night
Hmmmmmmmmmm. It is finally Thursday. The weekend holds too much possibility. I have no idea what I should do with my time...............................................
Monday, February 2, 2009
hey guys,
well i was just added and i would just like to start off by saying thanks for letting me be a part of your group, even though i have a core card and have a god forsaken right to be here. also thanks for reading what i have to say, i think that it takes a special kind of friend to listen and an even better friend to read what the other has to say, because, lets face it, who actually writes their thoughts and once written how boring must it be to read the feelings of others. unless you like them or are genuinely interested in what they have to say.
well lets see its monday night and this blog is coming off of the love bed--not the best thing to be launched from here, but close. anyway, i hope all is well with everybody who reads this, and that all yall are spending your time making yourselves the happiest, but dont waste too much time masturbating; thats different.
Until next time,
jb

What I Wore Today
I am reminded of an Of Montreal song; the one about only leaving the apartment once a day to buy some groceries. That was my day.
All day I sat around in my PJs, the grey pants with my USF "Don't Be Reck-less" t-shirt. Around 4:30 pm I decided that I would get dressed, so I donned my sequined, argyle shirt and blue jeans after my shower and drove down to the local taco shop to get me some carne asada fries. Around 10:30 pm I tired of my regular clothes and traded them in for my grey PJ pants again and my University of Heidelberg shirt (man I have been quite collegial today!).
So that was my Thursday in the sleepy mountain town of Alpine.

Bloggy Bloggy Bloggy
Hello My Lovely People,
I first wanted to draw attention to the new picture of us all. If anyone disapproves, well you can suck it.....jk, jk. Just let me know if you want any changes or have any suggestions. I was complaining to Ali that I didn't have anything to blog about so she recommended that I write about what I wore today. Who's excited???
My outfit today actually wasn't that amazing. I wore my RED shirt with jeans. While it is very plain, I think that it was very classic. It showed that I cared about the world and was able to just throw on a t-shirt and jeans and still look nice. Hahaha.
Ok now that the bullshit is over, I do have a slightly amusing story about my hair. A couple days ago I was trying to add dark redish-brown lowlights to my hair, just to add a bit of depth. Unfortunately, the color didn't really work out and I ended up with pink streaks in my hair! So awesome, right?!.....and then I found $10. Ok, the $10 part isn't really true...but after I wrote that I realized how lame of a story it was and decided to try and redeem it with $10....but I don't think that worked either. Umm, so yeah. I had pinkish hair for a couple of days. And then I found this Color Oops thing that takes out color without bleaching the hair. So I tried that. And it took out the pink wonderfully...but it also really lightened my hair. So now my hair looks like I bleached it. Yay!

Another Day Another Dollar
Dear Colleagues and Communists,
It has recently come to my attention that something quite important has occurred. How this something passed by without much notice is a surprise, (well actually it isn't now that I think of it) but we are currently doing something that has never been witnessed by mankind before. We are in 2009. Waoh! Let's just wait a cotton pickin' moment here. What happened to 2008, it was a good year, and I wish it could still be with us. But nothing lasts now does it. Let's have a moment of silence for 2008......ahh, if only Bette Middler could be here to sing a song and make us all cry into our quilts (I'm sure you're all wrapped in quilts at this moment). While I will miss 2008, I believe it important to set some goals for 09, resolutions if you will. And since they are on the Internet, I will most certainly achieve them all.
2009 Resolutions (in no particular order)
Peace to All,
