Le Life

Bonjour!
Wowzies, it sure has been a long time since I last blogged. Well the school year has officially started, we've already been here for 2 months! Holy Crap! It is terrifying how fast time flies. The love palace is going swimmingly, zebra sheets and all...it is really nice to be....(Ok, this is how bad I am at blogging, I wrote this a bazillion years ago and never finished it or posted it)
So really Holy Crap! It's almost Thanksgiving! What happened? How is everything moving so quickly. We are almost halfway done with sophomore year then that means we are almost halfway done with college! Yikes....So Anyway, I guess I am not even sure what to write about. This year certainly is different than last year, but not necessarily in a bad way (other than MT not being here). While things have changed, it isn't too shocking for it seemed inevitable, but it is a little scary. It's weird to be at a point in my life where I look at the last three years and nothing is the same. Previous to coming to college everything was very stable. You go to school during the year, you have summer vacation and you go back and things are more or less the same as the were before. Things no longer have that same monotony, we left what was familiar for good ol' USF, we were socialized into the college life and just when we thought we had the hang of it Summer came and we were sent back to our old lives that didn't resemble what we remembered. Then we come back, and the college life we spent a year acclimating to is not the same one we remembered. While things are good and we're lucky to be in college, this transitory lifestyle is kind of uncomfortable. It's just important to keep in mind that life is weird...and it's only going to get weirder. and I love you.

Kisses,
K.

long time no blog

hello my little dears,
i am so sorry that i haven't blogged in like 2 months. i know i am very behind. to be honest, today is the first time in like a month that i've even read the blog. my bad, please forgive me.
so like kailey said a long time ago, its weird being around the freshmen and seeing what they are like now, and how we were like that last year/how much has changed. that's something i've been thinking a lot about recently, how different my life is now than it was a year ago. so much has happened that i NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS would have expected. ;-)
i've also been wondering though, how many of these changes in my life have changed who i am as a person. and how much have they changed me as a person. and which of these changes are good and which are bad. basically, college is the time to discover yourself and who you want to be. am i becoming the person that i want to be? am i heading down the path that i really want?

Bathroom Talker

Ok, so guys. I was going to take a shower after a long stretch of reading and I get into the stall and I hear the girl in the stall next to me talking to someone. Now as you all know, this is not too uncommon and I simply brushed it off as some friendly stall to stall shower convos with the girl on the other side who I assumed that she knew and was friendly with. But then I hear this male voice respond from somewhere. "omg" I think, "what is going on?" It's obvious that the alleged male is nowhere in the girl's bathroom and becomes clear that the girl is simply talking to her bf on speaker phone while taking a shower. uhmmmmmmmm awkward. What is even more awkward is the fact that her bf didn't know she was in the shower, and then got really suppppper excited when he found out and proceeded to inquire as to whether or not she was naked (hahaah). They continue on with their awkward conversation as the girl (I imagine) carries on with all her normal shower activities. Next thing I know, speaker-phone boy is retching away on the other end of the phone, for quite a long time, I might add. The girl, who apparently doesn't find this to be too weird, giggles flirtily and asks "what's wrong, baby?" Speaker phone boy, suddenly magically cured of his ailment, responds cheerily, "I was laying down, those are the noises I make when I'm laying down". All the while that this is going on, I am trying to shave my legs but am thoroughly distracted by the middle stall escapades and do a really crappy job. The boy continues to ask awkward questions like "you have a shower in your room?" and "can you take a picture?" and middle stall girl continues to indulge him and even proceeds to take him off speaker phone and have a more quiet, private conversation...WHILE SHE'S IN THE SHOWER. hahahahahah all I wanted to do was be done with my shower so I could go out and tell someone, but by the time I dried off and got dressed, it didn't seem that weird anymore.

lol haahahah well that's my blog for the night.

Love yous

Lovefest Countdown

So it is that time of year again, the time of year where debauchery and nudity are rampant in San Francisco. The time of year where you find yourself confused over the fact that there is a chicken in front of City Hall. The time of year where you listen to free concerts in Golden Gate Park.
Ali is very happy for this weekend.

Should be a wonderful weekend....

Hello everyone,

Surprise, surprise....I am sick once again! Which makes me a tad depressed about this weekend which, in theory, should have been amazing. I mean come on, lunch at the Jez Rez, Robert Plant and Allison Kraus, Ben Kweller, Joe Purdy, Iron and Wine, Vertigo at Union Square, and Love Fest should be a flawless weekend....except for the fact that sickness has overtaken my body. O well, what can I do?

I have been reading a lot lately and have come across some amazing books. You all need to read Watchmen. Don't be skeptical because it is a graphic novel.....it is honestly one of the best novels I have read. It really makes you think and re-examine everything. AHHHHH, so goood!

Now I'm reading Kite Runner, which is also exceptional.

Well, I guess it is bed time for me, I have to get up early tomorrow to help out with Prof. Deist's conference.

Love you all!
