So while attempting to write this blog I some how made my text underlined, impressive, I know. As usual I was trying to think of what to write for my blog and couldn't think of a really interesting topic so I thought I would just fill you in on some recent activities.

Sisterhood (where did the underline go?) of the Traveling Pants came out today! OMG! I went with Kelsey and Rebecca to see it at the local theater. Even though we went to a later showing (9:40 if you must know) a vast majority of the females in our graduating class were also there. It was a mini reunion of sorts. The movie takes places the summer after their first year at college, so it was sort of weird being at the theater with all of these girls who were in fact at the same point in their lives as the characters. We laughed, we cried, we gasped, it was wonderful. You have to love the sisterhood.

I got a new phone! wahoooo! This is the beauty above, same color and everything. Originally I wasn't going to purchase a new phone because I was going to try and same the money I made this summer for back to school but it turns out that I suck at saving! And my old phone refused to take a charge so I didn't have one. I love this phone, and hopefully as you have noted, my texts have improved grammatically as I can now add proper punctuation. The saddest bit is that after I bought my new phone I lost my old one, so I don't really have very many numbers and I had just completely bejeweled the old one.

Well this isn't really about me, but I think it's funny. My dear friend Brandy is housesitting for his cousins who owns a Maine Coon. A Main coon is apparently known as the dog of the cat world for they can grow to an alarmingly large state. Well this cousin loved his MC dearly, but around a month ago the cat disappeared. So the other day Kelsey and I were at dinner with Brandon and he gets a call from his cousin. His cousin had been talking to this woman also from our town, who is a self-proclaimed cat psychic. The deal is, you call the woman and put yourself on speaker phone, you then call for the missing cat. The cat psychic, hearing your call, taps into the cat's psyche and hears you through the cat's ears. She then sees through the cat's eyes and leads you to it. Brandon, being the generous soul that he is, talked to this woman for 2 hours (and by the way she does this for free) and thinks he has pinpointed the cats location to a brush field that he thinks is too creepy to enter. The psychic said the cat got lost. How a dog sized cat can get lost in a brush field close to home and survive is a good question, but hey. The cousin should be returning home, it shall be interesting to see if he and his feline companion will be reunited.

FICRA fair. This Saturday Kelsey and I are selling our wears at the FICRA (Fox Island Community Rsomething Asomething) Fair. Basically we are making crap (like notebooks, jewelery and spring rolls and selling it) I hope we make bank. hahahaha.

Canadian Vacay. So Laina is coming this Sat. yipppee!! and we may be heading North to visit our Canadian neighbors. This should be epic, we are planning to take the ferry across to Victoria and stay in a really cool hostel. We are just waiting on the hostel to tell us if they have room! Oh man I am going to be so broke at the beginning of the school year! Bring on the Credit Cards! hahahaah
Love and Miss you all,
Kailey
