...
Let's see, life is kinda boring. Packing, spending multiple hours in the dentist chair and seeing friends for the last time. I saw Tropic Thunder today. It made me laugh. I have kinda been torn emotionally lately. Wait I think bipolar is a better way to describe it; happy one moment, sad the next, ahhh I hate these things called emotions. Well, I guess it doesn't matter because I will be with you guys in a few days time.

RIP
Hello my loved ones,
So I'm slightly confused why I am the only one to blog this week so far? O well, I guess I get to see you all in a couple of days so I'm not too upset.
Well, I have some bad news. My uncle passed away yesterday. :( Yeah, not too great of a situation. So me getting to San Fran is a bit more complicated now. I think I'll still get there in time to move in on the 18th, but I may be missing most of orientation for the funeral.....or I may not. I don't really know what is going on right now....
But lets talk about something happy/funny....ok, maybe this isn't happy but I do find it pretty funny. Last night I threw a birthday party for my friend Bonna. She came over early with two of my other friends (JoAnna and Cody) to help me set up and stuff. Cody and Bonna offered to go buy some firewood and ice for me, so I sent them off to the store in Cody's car. About 10 mins later I get a call from Bonna who sounds a bit panicked....she then proceeds to tell me that they dropped a car door on her foot and that she is going to the ER! Yes, a car door. Apparently Cody's car door fell off while they were driving so they pulled over and picked up the door to put it back on (or something). Sadly, the door slipped from their hands and landed on Bonna's foot. Yes, a car door. Thankfully she didn't break it. Nevertheless, I was left with the job of explaining to our many guests why the birthday girl wasn't there. But Bonna (being the tough lady she is) still decided to show up later...after her foot stopped swelling and she popped some pills! So beware of car doors! They can really ruin your birthday party.
I think thats all for me today....I need to go finish packing. I will see you all in like 4 days!!!
Love you.

The Final Countdown!!!
So I have a little more than a week before I go back to The City. This is a good thing, but I have no time to do anything. My bosses have decided to schedule to work until the last day that I am in San Diego. This is bad. I can feel the pressure and I still haven't seen "The Dark Knight"!!! What is with this!?! Oh and I need to beat the Star Wars Lego video game. There is so much to do!!!! I shouldn't even be on the internet! Must go do something constructive...like eat ice cream or something like that. See you soon my lovelies.

Hello Loves,
I officially started packing today! How crazy is that? I am only in H-town for 3 more days and 4 days in Plains visiting the fam. Yikes! I'm so ready to go back, but looking at those numbers is freaking me out a little....
We hired a new dude at the coffee shop who used to live in San Fran with his wife. I have had a lot of fun talking to him 'bout The City and fun places to go.
I've been going through my closet trying to get rid of excess clothing....I had no idea how much clothing I own! It is crazy! But I'm getting rid of a lot, so be proud of me!
So funny story, I went into my hair salon a couple of days ago to get my hair lightened a bit so it would be closer to a dark blonde than a light brown. Well, here's the funny part....I came out of there with hair that was darker than when I went in. I guess dark brown is the new blonde.
I hope you all watched Paris Hilton's political add in response to McCain using her in his add against Obama. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It is worth it.
I miss you all!

Hello Friends,
So while attempting to write this blog I some how made my text underlined, impressive, I know. As usual I was trying to think of what to write for my blog and couldn't think of a really interesting topic so I thought I would just fill you in on some recent activities.

Sisterhood (where did the underline go?) of the Traveling Pants came out today! OMG! I went with Kelsey and Rebecca to see it at the local theater. Even though we went to a later showing (9:40 if you must know) a vast majority of the females in our graduating class were also there. It was a mini reunion of sorts. The movie takes places the summer after their first year at college, so it was sort of weird being at the theater with all of these girls who were in fact at the same point in their lives as the characters. We laughed, we cried, we gasped, it was wonderful. You have to love the sisterhood.

I got a new phone! wahoooo! This is the beauty above, same color and everything. Originally I wasn't going to purchase a new phone because I was going to try and same the money I made this summer for back to school but it turns out that I suck at saving! And my old phone refused to take a charge so I didn't have one. I love this phone, and hopefully as you have noted, my texts have improved grammatically as I can now add proper punctuation. The saddest bit is that after I bought my new phone I lost my old one, so I don't really have very many numbers and I had just completely bejeweled the old one.

Well this isn't really about me, but I think it's funny. My dear friend Brandy is housesitting for his cousins who owns a Maine Coon. A Main coon is apparently known as the dog of the cat world for they can grow to an alarmingly large state. Well this cousin loved his MC dearly, but around a month ago the cat disappeared. So the other day Kelsey and I were at dinner with Brandon and he gets a call from his cousin. His cousin had been talking to this woman also from our town, who is a self-proclaimed cat psychic. The deal is, you call the woman and put yourself on speaker phone, you then call for the missing cat. The cat psychic, hearing your call, taps into the cat's psyche and hears you through the cat's ears. She then sees through the cat's eyes and leads you to it. Brandon, being the generous soul that he is, talked to this woman for 2 hours (and by the way she does this for free) and thinks he has pinpointed the cats location to a brush field that he thinks is too creepy to enter. The psychic said the cat got lost. How a dog sized cat can get lost in a brush field close to home and survive is a good question, but hey. The cousin should be returning home, it shall be interesting to see if he and his feline companion will be reunited.

FICRA fair. This Saturday Kelsey and I are selling our wears at the FICRA (Fox Island Community Rsomething Asomething) Fair. Basically we are making crap (like notebooks, jewelery and spring rolls and selling it) I hope we make bank. hahahaha.

Canadian Vacay. So Laina is coming this Sat. yipppee!! and we may be heading North to visit our Canadian neighbors. This should be epic, we are planning to take the ferry across to Victoria and stay in a really cool hostel. We are just waiting on the hostel to tell us if they have room! Oh man I am going to be so broke at the beginning of the school year! Bring on the Credit Cards! hahahaah
Love and Miss you all,
Kailey

Roommate...
So, today is August 4th, and do you know what that means? Seattle U room and roommate assignments are being mailed!!!!!!!!! Now I know that it takes a couple of days for snail mail to come, but I kind of just assumed that they would also send an email, because at this point it is clear that they have the assignments and are just being cruel and withholding them from us. Unfortunately, no email came this morning when I checked and the 100 times I refreshed the page were to no avail either. Alas (haha) I am in limbo between being roommateless and finding out the fate of my coming academic year...dun dun dun. So I decided to Google image search "roommate" to see if there were any signs or hints pointing toward my pending fate, and sure enough! This is what I found...

In other news: Rachel's parents got a white mini-cooper, I'm going to a Brandi Carlile concert and my little brother is coming on the next trip. Also, the Xploregon blog is up ( I know you were all dying for that news) and I take almost all of the pictures and am in charge of making sure the blog gets done, so go admire my awesomeness. It will be updated periodically throughout the coming 2 weeks and then you can tell me how great I am when I see you in SF :)
