The Mad Adventures of Ali and Mary: Part II

Day 3 12:28 a.m.
We are finally going to bed and it is not fucking sun rise. So far our Mexican adventure is off to a great start. Cool drinks and delicious food have been plentiful, and after taking a six hour nap we headed down to the square and walked around. It is hot as hell here but the sweat is therapeutic. Tomorrow is the triathlon. Ali will be doing the bike portion and I will be running. This should be good.

Beer We Have Had
Bohemia Obscuro-the best!
Negra Modelo-the second best!
Indio-a nice light beer
Victoria-we drank this beer in our Michaeladas-see day 5 for diagram (diagram not found)

Day 4 5a.m. (kinda)
After waking up around noon Mary and I participated in an epic 9 game backgammon tourney. Today was a day of firsts: Marcos had his first girl scout cookie, Mary had her first real ocean adventure and Ali had her first mate (ma-tay). Dinner was so long, so basically from 10p.m. to 3 a.m. And consisted of amazing food and amazing win and amazing company. we had fucking amazing octopussy and had the pleasure to meet Alex senior, and old man who loved women and wine. Kathy really opened up about her experiences in Mexico and her problems with basically legalized, high class prostitutes (which we ended up meeting tonight). So basically it was a long day! And oral hygiene is the best!

Day 5 2:24p.m.
Yesterday Ali and I neglected completely our recording duties. Therefore we will no report the events and happenings of Sunday (Day 4 of our adventures) We were awoken yesterday around 1:30 p.m. with the sweet and melodious sounds of breakfast in bed, courtesy of Kathy. We then bounded out of bed ready to face our beach adventure. This lead us first to MICHELADOS! they are excellent! I also had my first ever fish taco. It was amazing.
After a "brief"* stop at Alex's restaurant we grabbed our open containers, hopped in the car and drove to La Playa Larga, a long beach on open ocean surrounded by "bitchen" (Ali) coconut groves. We patronized the fine establishment Popeyes- a restaurant in the sand, so we took our shoes off at the table. I worked on my spanish immersion while we all sat around the table for hours eating an d drinking beer and wine. A high light of the meal was the octapussy salad, pictured on the next page.
After dinner and multiple bottles of wine and beer we decided to retire to our beach stake-out where we proceeded to take a siesta. After we woke up we saw dolphins and mary got epically pwnd at backgammon by Alex. The sunset was amazing but the mosquitoes came and tried to eat us alive. For dessert we decided to get 6 flavors of gelado: guanabana, oreo, coffee, coconut, nuez, and gelado made w/ goat's milk.
*Mexico brief is 45min. to 1 1/2 hours
