Friday:
The inaugural blog post/ creation (Thanks Kailey!!) after an inspiring talk from Seattle based fashion blogger, Jasmine Parks of www.pikepine.com. Kailey, Kyrstin, Laina and I all went crazy blogging in my beautiful room :)

After a morning of nothing but blogging, a friend with a car (a rarity indeed!) took us on our first epic adventure of the weekend. Friday afternoon consisted of lunch at Ike's (OMG, I might be in love with Ike), sliding on the concrete slides in the Castro, a trip up to Twin Peaks to enjoy the breathtaking view of San Francisco on a sunny day and ending downtown with a sunglass shopping trip to Nordstrom.

What a day right? But wait! It doesn't end there!!
Jake and I (MT) took a jaunt to the Mission to see Clarion Alley (!!!) Sooo cool. Here are some of my favorites...

Friday night consisted of some good old best friend bonding, and a couple of memorable firsts (see "The Unofficial SII Events and Happenings: Incest, Rape and Human Sacrifice")
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves

Saturday morning began with our final group trip to the farmers market ( :( !!!) where we all got friendship bracelets and enjoyed another beautiful San Francisco morning at the Embarcadero. After that, we returned home and a group of us babysat Manuel's kids (so cute!) and Laina got attacked by a group of children at the Panhandle Playground (see Kailey's post).
Later that night, we embarked on yet another incredible unofficial SII adventure to the heart of the Presidio where we belted Queen , star gazed and made s'mores around the bonfire. After leaving the woods at about 2:30 am, we found that the nearest bus was miles away. Long story short, we arrived home tired and happy, 2 hours, a couple miles of walking and 2 bus rides (or a cab for Kyrstin) later and collapsed into a satisfying slumber.
Sunday was a day of recovery that involved a lot of sleeping, eating and... a trip to Haight St (!!!!). Secrets :)
Now I think we are all realizing the consequences of uninhibited vacation weekends as our various papers and presentations continue to not be written. Uh oh. I really have to go.
Until tomorrow, I love you San Francisco!!!
Peace,
MT
