Good Morning Friends!
I hope your morning has been as wonderful as mine has been. Here are some random thoughts and reflections:
A couple of reasons I like the Denver Airport:
Free wifi, tasty bagels, free wifi, lots of shops
A couple of reasons I dislike the Denver Airport:
The shops are kinda sketch, it is snowy and cold, the airport is really confusing ( I am currently in the Gates 1 - 31 area, but I can only find Gates 28 - 31), last time I was here (sitting in this exact same spot, also going to Orlando) they canceled my plane and fucked up getting me to Orlando...and then lost my luggage for half the trip
I really like the song Wannabe. It reminds me of you guys....and Bonna. I have been listening to it all morning......hahaha
Most beautiful thing I have seen today:
(I can't get bold to turn off.....)
Flying out of San Francisco while it was still dark was so beautiful. The moon was still up and shinning over the ocean. The city looked so calm and I could see campus! And then we flew into the sunrise. It was wonderful.
People are really crabby at 4:30 am while standing in line.
Peets Coffee has really strong iced coffee....it kinda tasted like 7 shots of espresso over ice....that isn't a bad thing...
I am glad we don't have snow in the City. I really dislike 6 months of snow.
I am slightly sleep deprived right now (that iced coffee is making it hard to get to sleep on the plane....that is a bad thing)
I get to see my mom in a matter of hours! (wonderful thing)
I get to see basically my entire family in a matter of hours.....(scary thing)
I am determined to come back with a tan.
I am sad that Mike is in the city today and I'm not. But I am so excited that he gets to meet you guys! Be nice and don't tell any embarrassing stories about me. Try not to freak him out too much....he is kinda normal (well, compared to you guys, but then again that isn't hard).
Does anyone know what deicing fluid is made of? I'm sure it can't be good for the environment. That has always bugged me.
I am obsessed with Sudoku.
My finger nail just broke and it is bugging me.
Ok, I'm rambling now. I think this post needs to end.

Sociology

Hello Friends,
I am currently sitting in Intro to globalization! Wahoo, this class, which is a part of the sociology department is fairly interesting. It's kind of bizarre though because it seems as if most of the words which are the fundamentals of Sociology are not actually part of the English language. Every other word I type into my notes gets a little underlined red squiggle, it's cool.
Let's see here, the retreat this weekend was very nice. I liked having my own bathroom and bedroom and being fed good food and wandering the woods.
That's really all I have to say right now. Don't live in excess.
Love,
K.
